The epic “Manas” is the pride of the Kyrgyz people, spiritual food and one of the ideologically oriented landmarks. The epic “Manas” contains all the traditions, customs, history, culture and literature of the Kyrgyz people.

The main part of our bookshelf is occupied by the book of the “Classical Studies” series of the Institute of Language and Literature named after Ch. Aitmatov of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic. These books were included in the “Classical Studies” series, published under the general editorship of academician Abdyldazhan Akmataliev, Kyrgyz speech art, history, language, ethnography, ethnopedagogy, music, art and others.
The department’s fund is also replenished with works of local poets and writers and literature about outstanding people. Today it is provided with more than 1,700 literature and periodicals: the newspapers “Yakhin Too”, “Kut bilim sabak Kyrgyz Tuusu”, “Erkin Too”.
