Department of methodological organization
The department provides methodological assistance to libraries in the areas of their activities.
- Conducts trips;
- Provides oral and written consultations;
- Conducts internships;
- Participates in seminars on the profile of the department;
Methodological and consulting work is carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic on library work, the coordination work plan, and regulations.
Methodological and advisory activities are carried out by the central methodological department of the region (methodologist). The department prepares long-term coordination annual and quarterly work plans, text reports on the work of methodological and advisory services.
Currently, the regional library, as a methodological center for 129 libraries, 4 city, 5 district and 119 rural libraries, organizes many activities to improve the quality of service to readers, disseminate new service methods, and improve reading.
The general book fund of the regional library numbers 104,062 copies of books and contains a unique national heritage. The library organizes regional and republican training seminars in order to improve the skills of employees of city, district and rural libraries in disseminating the most effective methods and forms of work.
Today it works with the use and dissemination of modern information and library technologies in order to educate the population on universal human values and on the basis of national values, national values, their spiritual wealth, civic self-knowledge, values. remained as a sacred heritage of our ancestors.
Providing information services to the population of the area where the library is located increases their activity in reading books and works with new forms of library work. For example, the regional library annually organizes competitions for rural libraries on topics such as “Best Library of the Year”, “Best Librarian of the Year”, “Best Rural Library”, “My Homeland is a Noble Place”, “The Place of My Birth is a Noble Place” " We sing a soldier’s song,” etc.
The initiator and organizer of events in the region are “Night of Dignity in the Library” and “Book Festival”.
