Department of methodological organization
Use and dissemination of modern information and library technologies in order to improve the efficiency of library activities;
Organizing cultural activities in the library, disseminating best practices, increasing the social activity of library staff and their role in society, developing professional skills;
Providing methodological consultations created on the basis of mandatory compliance with job descriptions and rules for keeping records of documentation, reports and statistics, without an alternative understanding of the work procedure;
The regional library annually holds review competitions for rural libraries for the titles “Best Library of the Year”, “Best Librarian of the Year”, “Best Rural Library”, etc. He is also the initiator and organizer of annual regional conferences and seminars, “Night of Library Dignity”, "Book Festival".
Reader Services Department
Institutions, organizations, enterprises, and all citizens, regardless of gender, nationality, education, social status, or religion, have the right to use this section.
The Service Department publishes publications in all fields of knowledge and organizes planned activities for the development of science and culture, education and other areas of public life. (Organizes and conducts literary events, meetings with book authors, presentations of new books, thematic exhibitions and reports dedicated to historical events, famous dates and current topics for various audiences of readers;
There is a club of local poets “Duburt” at the department.
In the reader service department, the information retrieval system consists of the main alphabetical, system catalogs and card index.
Additional services:
- Providing literature to the fund during non-working hours;
- Selection of documents for copying at the request of readers;
- Organization of an introductory tour of the library;
Сhildren's department
This information will help young people learn about the heroes of the past, awaken interest in the history of the Motherland, its glorious moments and great people, help preserve history and cultivate patriotism.
Summer camp “There is no rest for books” teaches children to read books freely and use their free time correctly in a mobile library in a gray house.
A “Mastery Hands” group was organized for children. (conditions are provided for working with felt, working with colored paper, drawing)
The department supports reading books for children with disabilities at the Kadam rehabilitation center.
Organizes additional education in order to fully satisfy the comprehensive interests and needs of children, adolescents and young people, professional, moral and intellectual development of the individual;
Together with kindergartens, secondary schools, and gymnasiums in our city, we organize mass information events and competitions about our history, language, religion, culture, traditions, historical monuments, and values that have been preserved by the Kyrgyz people since ancient times. Comes
Through the spiritual values of the epic “Manas”, this department educates patriots who love their country and are ready to do anything for it, young people who have absorbed the Kyrgyz national language, culture, traditions, moral values, preserving the unity of the people and the integrity of the nation.
The section contains bibliographic indexes, encyclopedias, dictionaries and information directories that help you find information on the topic on the Internet. This also includes periodicals, magazines (archival work).
The information department carries out bibliographic requests in all fields of knowledge, compiles reference lists on issues, and provides access to bibliographic and full-text publications.
There is a club “Young Storytellers” at the department.
Hall of Legal and Economic Studies
The office of legal and economic education presents legal and economic literature, periodicals, electronic publications, full-text databases in the field of national and foreign law, and the Toktom legal information system.
- The Resolution represents the most complete database on the largest non-state archive of legislative, regulatory and other documents of the Kyrgyz Republic, which is necessary for lawyers, auditors and accountants, employees of the banking and financial systems, business managers and public service specialists as a powerful tool for analytical work. Access to the Toktom information and legal system in this training room is free.

American Corner
The American Centers program first opened in Kyrgyzstan in 2003 and began as a partnership between the US Embassy in Bishkek and local institutions. The American Center is viewed as a small resource center, designed in the style of an American library, and created with the goal of deepening mutual understanding between the people of Kyrgyzstan and the United States through the latest and most reliable information about the United States. Since 2003, “America’s Corner” has continued its work in our library.
Current activities of America's Corner:
- Visiting readers can freely access Internet resources based on modern technologies;
- Volunteers are provided with working conditions;
- Promotion of translations of English and American writers;
- English language and speaking courses will be conducted for high school students;
- English language course for civil servants;
- Computer courses;
- Virtual interviews and meetings are held with graduates of American educational institutions.
